Avondale Tidal Waves Swim Team!
The Avondale Tidal Waves is a recreational, summer swim team for children ages 5-18. We emphasize FUN, community, team spirit and stroke development.
2026 Swim Team Practice Schedule
**SUBJECT TO CHANGE**
May 26-June 23, morning practices (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays):
- 10 & Under: 8:00-8:45 a.m.
- 11 & Over: 8:45-9:45 a.m.
May 27 - June 18, Afternoon practices (Mondays and Thursdays):
- 6 & Under: 5:30-6:00 p.m.
- 7-10: 6:00-6:45 p.m.
- 11 & Over: 6:45-7:30 p.m.
Wacky Wednesdays and 1 Tacky Tuesday (5/27, 6/3, 6/10, 6/17 and Tuesday 6/23):
- 10 & Under: 8:30-9:15 a.m.
- 11 & Over: 9:15-10:00 a.m.

ASA Championship: Wednesday, June 24th @ 9:30 a.m. @ GA Tech
Awards Brunch is tentatively planned for Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 10 a.m.

Cheer your swimmers on in style!
Raj at Uptown Promotions has created a spirit wear store where swimmers and team fans can order their Tidal Waves merchandise!
Additionally, Raj will be at each home meet to sell t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, hats and more! He accepts cash, Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App.
You can order items at the link above and pick it up in person at a home meet if you place your order by the Sunday before. You can also order online and have it shipped to you.
Remember, the Tidal Waves gets 10% of the profits from these spirit wear sales. We use a portion of this money back to sponsor swim lessons for local kids through the YMCA!
